INSTRUCTIONAL DVDs
I have been practicing goldsmithing since 1972. I have started toying with metal even before that. The way skills were acquired was by observing what others do and figuring things on your own. Depends on how lucky one was and on the sharing mood of goldsmiths around him/her, the progress was largely depending on others and not on goldsmith herself.
Observing educational scene now, some things have changed for the better, and some things have become even worse. A beginner goldsmith definitely has more options now than before, which is good. However, the quality of education has suffered, especially in the area of hand-fabrication.
To rectify this situation, I am offering instructional DVDs dealing exclusively with hand fabrication. Each DVD shall demonstrate a particular topic out of hand-fabrication repertoire, and will be introduced in gradually increasing level of difficulty.
